TransTech Energy Business Development Conference Set for Nov. 14-16

Energy technologies and strategies are constantly in transition as countries around the world strive for economic growth and stability, a reasonably healthy environment, and national security. The term TransTech Energy (TTE) refers to transition technologies and strategies that move us along the pathway to a lower carbon, industrially competitive, clean energy economy of the future.

The TransTech Energy Business Development Conference, taking place November 14-16 at the Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown, West Virginia, will facilitate investment in start-up TransTech Energy (TTE) companies and projects to create jobs, opportunities for advanced manufacturing and to improve efficiencies of existing energy-intensive companies and fossil energy industries.

Start-up TTE companies, innovators and entrepreneurs can apply to pitch new business or commercializable projects to investors for funding.

Investor groups, strategic partners, and TTE experts can tap into unique deal flow opportunities with high-return potential and industrial scalability.

University student teams and faculty advisors can participate in a Student TTE Business Concept Paper Competition.

The conference is partially funded by the U.S. DOE’s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) and TechConnect West Virginia and several other private and public sector companies and organizations.
