On August 14, 2015, the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative Keynote & In-Service will be held from 9 am to 4 pm at the Erma Byrd Higher Education Center in Beaver, WV.

Gary Schoeniger, founder of the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative will deliver the keynote address, “Entrepreneurial Mindset: Advancing Student Success.”

Schoeniger is co-author of “Who Owns the Ice House? Eight Life Lessons From An Unlikely Entrepreneur.”  His remarks will center on the theme of entrepreneurship as a mindset that provides a framework for thinking and acting in ways that lead to success.

Breakout sessions will examine an interdisciplinary approach to entrepreneurship, the opportunity discovery process, and the entrepreneurial mindset for student success.

While the event is geared toward educational professionals, anyone with entrepreneurial ambitions or an interest in entrepreneurship is encouraged to attend.

Sponsors include the New River Community & Technical College, the Greenbrier Valley Economic Development Corporation and the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority, with support from the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation.
