SBA Small Business Week Winners to be Honored at Teaming to Win Conference

25th anniversary logoTeaming to Win is excited to honor some of the top businesses in West Virginia during the 25th Anniversary Teaming to Win Celebration. On Wednesday, May 27, the U.S. Small Business Administration’s West Virginia District Office will hand out the 2015 Small Business Week Awards during the conference’s opening luncheon.  To register for the 2015 Teaming to Win Conference, visit http://www.teamingtowin.org/.

Since its founding 25 years ago, thousands of individuals have participated in Teaming to Win conferences and events, helping small businesses throughout North Central West Virginia prosper and grow.  The annual event presents an excellent opportunity for small businesses, in terms of visibility with leaders in industry, networking connections, and continuing education.

The Teaming to Win conference will begin at noon on Wednesday, May 27 at the Canaan Valley State Teaming Canaan PhotoPark & Conference Center in Davis, W.Va. and run through May 29 with keynote speakers, including U.S. Senators Joe Manchin and Shelley Moore Capito, West Virginia Secretary of State Natalie Tennant, and WVU President E. Gordon Gee.

“We’ve assembled a strong agenda of valuable sessions and we’re delighted to offer this year’s conference in one of the most scenic destinations in the state, the beautiful Canaan Valley.  With the continuing completion of Corridor H, it’s just a short drive from the Washington metro area, making it an ideal location for both West Virginia participants and those from the nation’s capital,” said Shelly Montgomery, president of the group’s board of directors.

The conference will feature training sessions that offer PDU and CEU credits, informational seminars on topics of interest to small business, drawings for giveaways, and an exhibit showcase.   Learning tracks will focus on the impact of regulations on small business, government contracting, the Affordable Health Care Act, and more.

A premier event for 25 years, Teaming to Win is designed to serve West Virginia’s business community, foster collaboration, and highlight the unique competencies of the many regional companies and individuals in attendance.  The conference incorporates trade show exhibits, corporate presentations, business counseling sessions, keynote speakers, and other activities.   The agenda is available on the event website at http://www.teamingtowin.org/.

Conference registration is now open.  Visit http://www.teamingtowin.org/ to register.
