The 4th TransTech Energy Business Development Conference will be held Nov. 5-6 at the Marriott Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown. The event celebrates great ideas for new products for a competitive, efficient and sustainable economy of the future.
Conference founder Carl Irwin said the conference gives entrepreneurs an opportunity to engage with and pitch their innovations to investors, strategic partners, and technical experts.
“In addition to the pitch sessions, participants will get to hear from an excellent lineup of speakers, including Dr. Cheryl Martin, former Interim Director of the U.S. Department of Energy Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-e); Dr. Mark Johnson, director of the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Advanced Manufacturing; and Dr. Brian Anderson, Director of the WVU Energy Institute.
“Entrepreneurs have a chance to obtain feedback from experts who listen, probe, and discern which innovations are commercially promising,” Irwin added.
