Author and management expert Devora Zack will address the 2014 Teaming to Win Conference on May 29 at the WVU Erickson Alumni Center in Morgantown.  Ms. Zack, CEO of the consulting group Only Connect Consulting, Inc., is widely recognized as an expert speaker, strategy consultant and executive coach.

She is the author of the internationally released, award-winning Networking for People Who Hate Networking and Managing for People Who Hate Managing. As a visiting faculty member for Cornell University’s business school, Zack has taught leadership and networking to MBA students from across the world for 15 years.    She has been featured in dozens of media such as the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, ABC- TV, CNBC, CNN.com, Fox News, British Airways, Forbes, Cosmo, and Fast Company.

Registration is now open for the 24th annual Teaming to Win Conference, which opens Wednesday, May 28 at 4 p.m. with a “hot topics” panel on the Affordable Care Act at the WVU Erickson Alumni Center in Morgantown and run through May 29 with keynote speakers, educational seminars, exhibit showcase, and the annual SBA Awards Banquet.

West Virginia University President Gordon Gee will address participants at the opening night “Bow Ties, Ballet and Bluegrass” reception.

In addition, confirmed speakers for two of the featured learning tracks will set the stage for rich dialogues.  Craig Ridley with FWD think, LLC will discuss how to move your business forward with innovative and modern training programs.  Ridley has presented at the 2011 and 2012 Department of Defense Mentor-Protégé Conferences and conducted multiple workshops on small business teaming and growth strategies. He is an active mentor to young emerging leaders and entrepreneurs through participation with organizations such as DECA.

Rob Holder with Emagine IT will discuss leadership growth, Generation Y, and business integrity in today’s highly competitive market.  Holder has vast experience in performance-based initiatives in support of the Federal Government in both the Intelligence community as well as Federal Law Enforcement. He is considered an industry expert in performance-based contracting (PBC) and delivering PBC standards and methodologies. He will share his exceptional knowledge and experience in leading diverse groups, fostering team-work, partnering with his customers, building consensus, motivating staff, and customer relationship management.

Training and informational sessions on topics of interest to small business are scheduled, drawings for giveaways will be held, and exhibits will be open throughout the day.  Teaming to Win is pleased to partner with SBA again this year to for the 2014 Small Business Awards, to be presented the evening of Thursday, May 29.
