Have you considered how exporting might help you grow – or even launch – your business? Many West Virginia businesses have found great success in selling their products abroad.

On Friday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., TechConnectWV will host “Going Global: Including Exports in Your Business Strategy.” The session is the latest in TechConnectWV’s virtual Entrepreneur Expo series.

Representatives from the West Virginia Development Office, West Virginia District Export Council and the U.S. Commercial Service will lead a conversation on:

• Important steps to take before entering global markets
• The key knowledge areas of exporting: shipping & logistics, securing payment and export financing, navigating language barriers, and marketing
• The services and programs available from the State of West Virginia and the U.S. Commercial Service to help startups and existing businesses identify international partners and grow their export sales

The session also will feature Chad Remp, International & eCommerce Sales Director at Legacy Trucks Centers, Inc., in Wheeling. Chad will share his company’s experience as an exporter.
