SBA WV District Office Seeks Small Business Week Nominations
The West Virginia District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration is soliciting nominations for the 2015 Small Business Week Awards. Every year since 1963, the President has called for the nationwide celebration of Small Business Week to acknowledge the significant contributions of small businesses to the nation’s economy.
All nominations are due by Monday, Jan. 5, 2015 at 3:00 EST.
National awards categories include National Small Business Person of the Year and Exporter of the Year. Click here for more information on the national awards.
Winners of the national award categories will be invited to Washington, D.C., in 2015 to compete for national titles and to attend National Small Business Week events.
In addition to the national awards, the West Virginia District Office is seeking nominations for the following district awards:
Entrepreneurial Success of the Year
Family-Owned Business of the Year
Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Financial Champion of the Year
Home-Based Champion of the Year
Minority Small Business Champion of the Year
Veteran Small Business Champion of the Year
Women in Business Champion of the Year
