SBA Seeks Applicants To Establish A Women’s Business Center

The Office of Women’s Business Ownership (OWBO) has posted Program Announcement Number SBA LogoOWBO-2016-01 for New Initial Phase Women Business Centers to Grants.gov. The Synopsis, Program Announcement, Instructions and Checklist of Required Submissions documents can be found by clicking here.

The purpose of OWBO’s program announcement is to provide funding for up to six (6) non-profit organizations that are located within and will provide services to the population of Alaska, Florida, Guam, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia to start a new, community-based Women’s Business Center.  Eligible applicants must be private, non-profit organizations with 501(c) tax exempt status from the U.S. Treasury/Internal Revenue Service. Public non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses are not eligible for these awards.

The Close Date for the Program Announcement is:  August 3, 2016
